Platinum Jubilee Day
On Thursday 26th May, Forty Hill School celebrated the Queen's Platinum Jubilee with a day of special events and activities. The day started with all our pupils arriving at the bunting and flag decorated playground dressed as Kings, Queens, Princes and Princesses as well as other royal themed outfits-the staff all dressed up too for the day! During the morning the children were able to visit the vintage double Decker bus and wartime jeep that came to our playground from the Whitewebbs Transport Museum. Children also painted Jubilee stones and decorated cupcakes during the morning for the special Jubilee Tea in the playground in the afternoon. The whole school enjoyed cucumber sandwiches, cakes and specially baked biscuits from Forty Hill College, accompanied by some very British tunes from the Enfield Brass Band members. The whole school also recorded the Jubilee Song to share with the whole community. Thank you to the Friends of Forty Hill who helped organise and support his wonderful day of celebration.
