Year 5 Cuffley Camp Day 2
Today started with breakfast at camp then a morning of climbing. The children were harnessed up and all attempted to climb the 20 ft climbing wall. Everyone had a go and many reached the top! This was followed by some fun problem-solving games in the forest, where the children had to work together to achieve a physical challenge. After a delicious lunch of meatballs, garlic bread and salad, we started operation camouflage... faces painted and foliage used to blend in our surroundings. Our challenge was then to hide and not be found which was excellent fun! We finished the day with bridge building, using the knotting skills from yesterday to create a frame to hold a bridge and for every child to cross safely- and they succeeded. A very happy day had by all and hopefully less excitement and more sleep tonight! Fingers crossed!
