About Us
Forty Hill is a one-form entry Church of England Primary School with a Nursery, set in a beautiful semi-rural location on the outskirts of Enfield. We have a close relationship with our local church, Jesus Church, and our children attend regular services throughout the year. The school and church work together to provide the children with an education underpinned by Christian values. Our theologically rooted Vision provides the foundation for every child's education, as well as their personal and spiritual development; creating a safe and welcoming community, where every child can achieve and be happy. Following Jesus’s example, we treat each other, our community, and God’s amazing world with love, respect and compassion. We aspire to ignite curious minds, nurture a passion for learning and enable everyone to experience and share faith, hope and service.
At Forty Hill, we develop confidence within our children, as well as foster respect for themselves and others. We are Global Neighbours, who show compassion towards each other, the wider community and our environment. We recognise the need to be reflective both personally and in the wider issues we face in our world today.
Our progressive and creative curriculum, along with wide-ranging pupil responsibilities, enable our children to grow and meet challenges with resilience using a growth mindset. Our holistic approach to our children’s development enables them to flourish both socially and academically, to become courageous advocates and responsible citizens of the future.
